Hi there! My name is SouJee Han (they/them) and I am a NYC born-and-raised interdisciplinary artist.

I am a queer, transmasc nonbinary, first-generation Korean-American, and a veteran of the US Army. My journey though unconventional has offered a treasure-trove of valuable lessons about myself and the world. I have met incredible people who have become lifelong friends, and those experiences have shaped me into a better person and a well-rounded artist.

I started my artistic journey as a writer and have continued to create and explore my imagination through this medium. I'm currently in the process of creating my own work and am excited to share it with you all!

I'm an alum of MCC Theater’s Youth Company and I hold a BFA in Theatre & Performance from Emerson College (’20). I am currently an MBA candidate at One Day/William Jewell College ('27) and a Creative Writing MFA candidate at The New School ('29).

Alongside my artistic endeavors, I am also a proud dog parent and entrepreneur. I am the founder of lightcore, a new media company dedicated to creating a first-of-its-kind artistic ecosystem that includes a legitimate emerging artistic pathway. Our first venture is a streaming service that aims to platform indie filmmakers and underrepresented stories, create a more financially equitable distribution environment, and preserve artistic integrity.
